According to an official press invitation from LRF Syd, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited Vismarlövsgården farm in Skåne on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The visit was organized to highlight green industries as a central societal interest, with focus on their role in delivering food and renewable energy, as well as their importance for Sweden's preparedness and national supply security.
During the visit, Prime Minister Kristersson met with farm owner Jens Thulin, LRF's national federation chairman Palle Borgström, and LRF Skåne's regional chairman Maria Hofvendahl Svensson. Other participants included LRF Ungdomen Skåne chairman Frida Lindström and Svedala municipality council chairman Erik Stoy.
The event concluded with a press conference and photography on the farmyard before the Prime Minister's departure between 11:30 and 11:45 AM. Vismarlövsgården, operated by Jens and Matilda Thulin, includes Assartorps säteri and Mylla.se, with operations encompassing livestock grazing, event activities, and approximately 300 hectares of crop cultivation primarily growing rye and wheat.
