Sveriges Radio's annual 'Fågelsångsnatt' will be broadcast on May 9 from multiple locations in Sweden and Finland. The eight-hour live broadcast will originate from Tåkern lake in Östergötland, Tromtö nature reserve on the Blekinge coast, Morups Tånge on the Halland coast, the wetland area Brånsjön in Västerbotten, and near a capercaillie lek in Uppland. Last year, the broadcast also aired in Finland via Svenska YLE, and this year the collaboration is expanding to include a Finnish team joining from Björköby in the northern Kvarken region.

The event will be aired on P1 and in the Sveriges Radio app.
