Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will again gather the Tidö leaders to discuss the way forward after the Liberals now accept the Sweden Democrats (SD) in a potential new government after the election, according to reports. Kristersson reportedly said he sees this as a major advantage for his side. The Liberals' specially convened national meeting gave the party leader majority support for the new SD line, although many delegates reportedly showed dissatisfaction by not actively voting for Simona Mohapeloa.
Kristersson reportedly stated that a red line that could have complicated matters has now disappeared. Last autumn, he invited the three other Tidö leaders to his home in Strängnäs to discuss their continued cooperation after a potential election victory, but that meeting was overshadowed by the Liberals then saying no to sitting in a government with SD. Kristersson reportedly said there will now be a new meeting where they can discuss even more issues.
