According to SVT Nyheter, Emil Bergsman, a woodworking teacher and Hammarby supporter from Insjön, Sweden, has transformed wood salvaged from the demolished Söderstadion stadium into over 700 kitchen utensils. When the Stockholm stadium was torn down in 2015, Bergsman reportedly collected wood from the site and has since been crafting knives, cheese slicers, and bottle openers in his workshop. The 52-year-old, who originally comes from Enskede, works three days a week as a woodworking teacher in Orsa and spends the remaining days in his Insjön workshop.

Many of the kitchen utensils have become gifts, spreading pieces of the stadium to kitchens across Sweden. Bergsman expressed his happiness that people appreciate his craftsmanship and his idea of keeping the memory of Söderstadion alive through his work.
