A 20-year-old Swedish man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempted murder in Copenhagen, according to Swedish media reports. The case is reportedly connected to the banned criminal gang Loyal To Familia in Denmark. The man, who denies the crime, was also sentenced to lifetime expulsion from Denmark and has appealed the verdict.

According to the report, the intended murder victim was linked to Loyal To Familia, which is prohibited in Denmark. The Swedish man allegedly never carried out the crime. Two gang criminals in Denmark were reportedly sentenced to long prison terms in July of last year for ordering the murder.

The Swedish man is said to have received a pistol from these men to carry out the murder in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen in September 2024.
