A man in the Sundsvall area has been charged with unlawful threats following a neighbor dispute that began with a barking dog last summer. According to SVT Västernorrland, the incident escalated when the suspect allegedly told his neighbor, "If the dog barks one more time, I'll cut the throat of both you and the dog."
The investigation reveals that police were unable to interview the suspect on the night of the alleged incident due to his level of intoxication. Additionally, the interview with the victim could not be recorded because the dog was barking too loudly during the questioning.

The suspect reportedly denies making death threats against either his neighbor or the dog. He admits to being heavily intoxicated at the time and acknowledges there's a possibility he doesn't remember everything he said. According to the report, the man claims he only advised his neighbor to "take a dog training course."
The case began when the suspect became irritated by his neighbor's barking dog, leading to the alleged threats that have now resulted in formal charges of unlawful threats.
