The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for storm winds in Jämtland County, starting on Tuesday evening. Winds are expected to increase from the west, first in the mountains and later overnight east of the mountains, potentially reaching storm strength with gusts between 21 and 26 meters per second. There is a risk of trees being blown down and loose objects being carried away.
ON is increasing its preparedness in response to the warning.
