According to police statements, there is currently no evidence connecting the incidents. The first shooting occurred on Monday in Vårby Gård, Huddinge, where a teenage boy was killed near a football field.

No arrests have been made in that case. The following day, a 45-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Frösunda, Solna, and one person has been detained in connection with that incident. A third shooting occurred in Tyresö, where another person was seriously injured.
