Spotify is reportedly rolling out a new global setting that will allow users to disable all video playback in the app, including for music and podcasts. This feature will be available across all platforms and can be managed by family account administrators for individual members. Previously, users could only turn off Canvas, which are short looping videos that play with certain songs.
The update is expected to be released soon, though it is not yet visible in the Play Store at the time of reporting.
