Spain's Supreme Court has ruled that kissing someone's hand without consent constitutes sexual assault. The ruling came in a case where a man was convicted for kissing a stranger's hand at a bus stop in Spain in 2023. The court upheld the conviction, stating that the defendant acted with the intention of violating the victim's sexual integrity.
According to reports, the man was fined the equivalent of over 16,000 Swedish kronor.
