The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a warning for sudden ice in large parts of Uppsala County. The warning is reportedly in effect from 19:00 on Tuesday evening until 10:00 on Wednesday. SMHI advises drivers to drive carefully and adjust their speed to road conditions, and warns that there may be delays and cancellations in public transport.
According to a separate report, ice is becoming weaker as temperatures rise.
