The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for sudden ice in southern Svealand. The warning covers Sörmland, Stockholm, and parts of Uppsala, Örebro, Västmanland, and Värmland. It is in effect from Wednesday evening until Thursday morning.
The cause is snow expected to turn to rain on Wednesday evening, which may freeze on cold surfaces and lead to icy conditions. This could disrupt traffic.
