All Championship final-day fixtures have been moved to 12:30pm to avoid triggering the UEFA-sanctioned blackout, which only applies if 50% of Premier League and Championship matches are scheduled for Saturday 3pm. With only three Premier League games at that time, representing less than 15% of top-two-division fixtures, the blackout rule is not activated. Sky Sports+ will enable the broadcaster to host 24 simultaneous feeds without needing separate TV channels.
However, Premier League 3pm fixtures such as Brentford vs West Ham will not be shown on UK television, as those rights are excluded from the Saturday 3pm window. It remains unclear which specific Premier League matches are scheduled at 3pm, and whether this blackout loophole will apply to future final days.
