The Swedish Schools Inspectorate has reported a teacher to the Teachers' Responsibility Board and is seeking to have his teaching license revoked. The teacher, who obtained his license in May 2022, worked at a school in Jönköping Municipality for over two years. Despite being reported to police by guardians and school management at previous schools, having his probationary employment terminated immediately at one school, and being assessed as unsuitable to work as a teacher, he was hired in Jönköping.

At a previous school, an employee stated in police interviews that the teacher hugged and favored girls, especially those in preschool class, and he was reported for allegedly touching a 6-year-old student between the legs. Colleagues noted chaos in classrooms under his responsibility and difficulties with boundary-setting. The school in Jönköping provided extensive support, but the principal reported no lasting improvement due to the teacher's lack of insight into his shortcomings.

The teacher no longer works at the school in Jönköping Municipality as of a year ago. The education chief for primary schools in Jönköping stated that references and background checks were taken but more should have been done, and the teacher was hired due to being the only qualified applicant despite professional deficiencies.
