The Swedish Schools Inspectorate has closed its case against Mosstorpsskolan in Skärblacka, outside Norrköping, after the school successfully addressed previously identified shortcomings. According to the inspectorate's decision announced on Tuesday, the school has now rectified deficiencies in several key areas following a follow-up visit and document review. The shortcomings that were addressed included issues related to absenteeism, extra adaptations for students, investigation of students' need for special support, work to create safety, and grading practices.
Jonas Eriksson, education director in Norrköping municipality, expressed pride in the school's efforts, stating in a press release from the municipality that the school's personnel and leadership had worked very hard and deliberately on these issues. The case is now officially concluded, marking the resolution of regulatory concerns that had been raised earlier about the school's operations.
