A skier was rescued after falling down a steep slope near Ammarnäs, Sweden. The police were alerted in the afternoon and involved mountain rescue services. The rescue operation took six hours.
The skier injured his arm and could not get out on his own. The plan to reach him by helicopter was not possible due to weather conditions. He was eventually rescued using a snowmobile and pulk.
