A unique suicide support group in Eskilstuna has been officially recognized as a new chapter within SPES, a nationwide nonprofit organization for bereavement support. According to SVT Sörmland, the group was started by Anneli Jalmberger in autumn 2024 after her son Max died by suicide a year earlier. The meetings take place every other Monday at Vallby parish house outside Eskilstuna, attracting between five and ten participants each session.
