Trafikverket has chosen to halve night trains to Norrbotten, a measure set to take effect from April 13. Negotiations are ongoing in Luleå, but it is too early to say how many people will be affected, according to SJ's communications strategist Peter Kraméus. Simultaneously, SJ is exploring ways to help employees transition to other roles within the industry and is investigating special solutions like early retirement.
