Sirius has signed 22-year-old defender Mohamed Soumah from Belgian club Gent. 5 million Swedish kronor, making it the club's most expensive purchase ever. In the competitive premiere against Sundsvall in the Swedish Cup, Soumah scored two goals.
Sirius won the match 6-0. Sirius coach Andreas Engelmark said the club believes Soumah can be a good weapon. On Sunday, Sirius will face Helsingborg in the second round.
Sirius paid one million euros, equivalent to around 10.5 million Swedish kronor, making it the club's most expensive purchase ever.
