Sirius Fotboll will host IFK Göteborg in a Swedish Cup quarterfinal match in Uppsala, Sweden. The match is scheduled for a Sunday afternoon. Sirius reportedly scored many goals in the cup's group stage, winning all three matches with a goal difference of 12-2 against Sundsvall, Helsingborg, and Elfsborg.
IFK Göteborg's coach Joachim Björklund said Sirius has been strong in the cup and that this match is their biggest test so far this year. According to reports, Sirius plays an offensive style, with key players including forward Robbie Ure, who scored four goals in three cup matches, and left-back Oscar Krusnell and winger Isak Bjerkebo on the left flank. Björklund noted that Sirius creates most of their chances from the left side and that IFK Göteborg needs a strong defensive right side to counter this.

Ticket interest for the match is reportedly high, with Sirius's event manager Linus Wallén saying there is pressure on tickets due to it being a quarterfinal knockout match with much at stake. In contrast, earlier group stage home matches drew smaller crowds of 1,800 and 2,200 spectators.
