Örebro Hockey lost their eighth-final playoff game against Luleå. Seven players are now leaving the club. The players departing are goaltenders Jhonas Enroth and Herman Liv, defensemen Niklas Nilsson, Peetro Seppälä, and Juuso Vainio, and forwards Patrik Puistola and Kalle Miketinac.
Separately, Djurgården is reportedly saying farewell to five players after their exit in the play-in to the playoffs. Oliver Kylington, who returned to SHL and Djurgården in the fall and played 28 games, will not stay for next season. According to a statement on Djurgården's website, Kylington reportedly brought NHL experience and toughness but had bad luck with long-term injuries.
The other players leaving Djurgården are Joey LaLeggia, Oula Palve, Samuel Solem, and Valtteri Pulli. Joey LaLeggia's career is reportedly over as he chooses to become a player agent. LaLeggia reportedly played his last professional hockey match in Malmö when Djurgården was eliminated in the decisive eighth-final against Malmö Redhawks.
