Senegal's national football team displayed the African Cup of Nations trophy in Paris, despite the Confederation of African Football (CAF) stripping them of the title. The team, led by captain Kalidou Koulibaly, lifted the trophy at Stade de France during a celebration before a training match against Peru. CAF recently decided to award the title to Morocco instead, after Senegal's players left the field for around 15 minutes in protest of a referee decision during the chaotic final in Rabat in January.

Senegal has appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
