Just before 11 PM on Wednesday night, a security guard saw two people chasing a third man outside a venue near Oslo Central Station. When the security guard tried to intervene, he was himself beaten and kicked in the head. The two perpetrators then ran away from the scene.

The security guard himself contacted the police and reported that he had been subjected to violence. The victim was taken care of by ambulance personnel on the scene. " The identities of the two perpetrators and the third man being chased remain unknown.

The victim is seriously injured but is conscious.
