A seal pup was found resting on land in central Hudiksvall. Camilla Palm spotted the seal in the water at Lillfjärden during the night, and by Tuesday morning it had come ashore onto a grassy area near the water. The County Administrative Board advises people to keep their distance and leave the seal alone, as it is likely resting and will reunite with its mother.
If the seal is in a dangerous location or far from water, the municipal wildlife manager can be contacted to move it.
