Sead Haksabanovic has not started a competitive match for Malmö FF this year under new head coach Miguel Angel Ramirez. He reportedly missed training due to a foot injury sustained in a cup match against Varberg. Haksabanovic, who joined Malmö FF in the summer of 2024, faced injuries and illnesses early on, making only three substitute appearances in his debut Allsvenskan season.
Last year, he played in 25 of 30 Allsvenskan matches, with 16 starts, and was a regular starter in Europa League matches in the fall. According to reports, he competes for playing time with Anders Christiansen and Arnor Sigurdsson, with Ramirez prioritizing Sigurdsson on the left wing. Haksabanovic stated he will get his chance and must take it.
