  • Parents are advised to pick up children and keep siblings of infected students home.

Only one-third of students and half of staff were present at Eldsbergaskolan on Friday due to a large outbreak of vomiting sickness. The spread of infection is believed to have started on Wednesday when a student vomited at the school. The school's principal Lisa Haraldsson said that although they cleaned immediately, it still spread, and they have no concern about food poisoning.

The school will now be sanitized, and teaching will be conducted largely outdoors on Friday. Parents are urged to pick up their children after the school day ends and for siblings of infected children to stay at home. Haraldsson expressed gratitude that everyone is showing humility in the situation.
