According to multiple reports, Scottie Scheffler shouted at his caddie Ted Scott during the final round of the Miami Championship, where he finished second for the third straight tournament, six strokes behind winner Cameron Young. On the ninth hole, Scheffler missed a short par putt and then, according to reports, bickered with Scott. The Daily Mirror reported that a Sky Sports commentator said Scheffler had had enough of the greens and that Scott's ears might be bleeding.
What exactly Scheffler said to Scott and how Scott reacted remain unclear. In a press conference, Scheffler praised Young, saying he was impressed with his game and that Young hit many quality shots throughout the week.
He has just about had enough of these greens. He's simply out of answers. Only birdies coming I'm sure are tap-ins at the par fives today. Ted Scott's ears may be bleeding at the end of the day.
