The club reportedly stated on its website that the situation is urgent. Jernvallen's A-plan is entering its final dispensation year in the Superettan league in 2026, and upgrades are needed for Sandvikens IF to play elite football there in 2027.
According to reports, the arena plan is delayed, and the club may be forced to play in Gävle.
