Sandra Bizzozero, an opposition councilor for the Social Democrats in Karlskrona, Sweden, is leaving her roles in the municipality. She announced her decision in a press release, stating it has developed over recent weeks and that she is grateful for the trust during her eight years in the role. Bizzozero will leave from the end of March to give the best possible conditions for her successor, Elina Gustafsson, who was chosen as the candidate to replace her at a Social Democrats nomination meeting.
A new opposition councilor and group leader for the Social Democrats will be officially elected at the municipal council meeting on March 26.
