Samsung Germany has unexpectedly released the Hearapy app on the Play Store, designed to reduce motion sickness. The app can currently be installed on all phones regardless of manufacturer, though a Swedish translation is missing. Based on a Japanese study, Hearapy uses a 100 Hz tone at around 85 dB, which users listen to for 60 seconds to stimulate the inner ear's balance organ, potentially alleviating motion sickness for up to two hours.
The app page mentions Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, but the brand of headphones does not matter.
