According to major media reports, Samsung has developed a magnetic Qi2 power bank tailored for the Galaxy S26 series. The power bank reportedly features a capacity of 5000 mAh and is priced at $65. It supports wireless charging at up to 15 W and can charge at 25 W via its USB-C port.
Additionally, the power bank includes a built-in stand. Samsung has omitted built-in Qi2 magnets in the new Galaxy S26 series phones. The company stated that the magnets were omitted to keep the devices thin.
As a result, buyers must first purchase a case with magnets for the power bank to attach to the phone. The release dates for both the Galaxy S26 series and the magnetic Qi2 power bank have not been announced. It is also unknown whether the magnetic case is included with the power bank or sold separately.
The power bank's compatibility with other phone models besides the Galaxy S26 series remains unclear.
