A roof collapsed at the entrance to the Munktell garage in Eskilstuna. The property owner Kfast and the construction company Peab are investigating why the roof collapsed. Kfast's preliminary assessment is that the attachment of insulation and under-roof panels came loose.
Peab stated that the attachment of the part of the inner roof that collapsed was poorly executed by a subcontractor hired by Peab. No one was injured in the incident.
