Ronaldo bans milk from diet, former chef reveals
Key Points
  • Ronaldo has banned milk from his diet, according to former chef Giorgio Barone.
  • Ronaldo eats six high-protein mini meals daily, favoring avocado, fish, chicken, and quinoa.
  • His fitness routine includes up to four hours of daily workouts, saunas, and ice baths.

Cristiano Ronaldo has eliminated milk from his diet, his former private chef Giorgio Barone told Daily Mail - Sport. According to Barone, Ronaldo avoids milk because he believes humans are the only animals that consume milk from other species, a practice he considers unnatural after infancy. Barone, who previously worked as Ronaldo's personal chef, said the footballer's diet is balanced but strictly healthy, with no sugar and no flour-based foods such as pasta or bread. Ronaldo's breakfast typically includes avocado, coffee, and eggs, while lunch consists of chicken or fish with vegetables. For carbohydrates, he relies on vegetables rather than grains. Dinner is light, usually fish or meat fillet with vegetables.

Ronaldo eats six high-protein 'mini meals' every day, according to multiple reports. His favorite foods include avocado, fresh fish, high-protein low-fat options like chicken, salad, whole grains such as quinoa, and fresh fruit. Fellow Portuguese players have said that Ronaldo's favourite meal is Bacalhau a Bras, a traditional Portuguese cod dish. The footballer avoids pasta, bread, and other flour-based foods, getting his carbohydrates exclusively from vegetables.

No milk. Humans are the only animals that drink the milk of other animals. No other animal drinks milk after three months. Calves don't drink milk after the age of three months. Animals don't drink the milk of other animals. It does not exist in nature. Only human beings continue to drink milk up to 30, 40, 50, and 60 years, and in my view it is wrong. We breastfeed from our mothers, like dogs, wolves, cows and donkeys. It is normal. After infancy it is not normal. It is against nature.

Ronaldo's fitness regimen is equally rigorous. He works out for up to four hours daily, according to reports. For recovery, he uses saunas and ice baths. His body fat is measured at seven percent, well below the typical range of eight to twelve percent expected of Premier League stars. It is unclear how long Ronaldo has maintained this diet or whether he consumes any dairy products other than milk. Ronaldo has not publicly commented on the milk ban.

Cristiano Ronaldo's diet is balanced. He eats a little bit of everything, but it's always healthy. Starting with breakfast, he would have an avocado with coffee, eggs and no sugar. Absolutely no sugar. Lunch could be chicken, fish and always vegetables. If he needs carbohydrates, he gets them through vegetables, so he doesn't need anything made with flour. Nothing like pasta, bread and other types of food. In the evening, he eats light foods, usually fish or meat in the form of fillet. It's always accompanied by vegetables.
