At SeaWorld Orlando, the Manta roller coaster came to a sudden stop mid-ride on Friday, leading to six people being taken to a local hospital, according to the Orange County Fire Rescue Department. Authorities said none of the injuries were life-threatening. SeaWorld Orlando described the incident as a brief operational pause lasting approximately seven minutes. During that time, six guests reported not feeling well, and emergency services were contacted, the park said in a statement. The ride resumed normal operations shortly after the incident, WESH reported. The specific injuries sustained by the hospitalized individuals and the cause of the stoppage have not been disclosed.

In a separate incident at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, the DC Rivals HyperCoaster suddenly stopped mid-ride at 1pm on Wednesday, leaving passengers stranded on the track. Passengers were trapped ten metres above the ground for two hours before the issue was fixed at 3pm. A Village Roadshow Theme Parks spokesman said all 20 riders were safe and the stoppage was caused by a ride sensor activation. The spokesman stated that all guests were safe and they were exiting them from the safe stop zones. According to the spokesman, at all times throughout the stoppage, the guests on board were safe and their team were in constant communication with them. It remains unknown whether any passengers required medical attention after the ordeal.
