The team secured a 4–1 victory over Färjestad in the decisive SM quarterfinal match at Catena Arena. The win gave Rögle a 4–3 series victory, advancing them to the semifinals.

Rögle took the lead in the first period through Fredrik Olofsson, but Färjestad equalized to 1–1 via David Tomasek. Filip Johansson then scored to make it 2–1 for Rögle. In the second period, Paul Ladue extended the lead to 3–1, and Linus Sandin sealed the 4–1 win late in the third period.

This was Rögle's fourth consecutive win against Färjestad.
