The Rödeby ski track in Sweden has seen a record number of visitors this season, with up to 90 days of snow. The Karlskrona SOK sports club has completed some of its last snow trainings in Rödeby this week, celebrating the achievement of 90 snow days, which is longer than usual for the club. Ola Thyvin, a youth leader in the club, said it is rare to have snow until Easter and described it as fantastic fun.

The club typically aims for two months of snow but got an extra month of March as a bonus. As the winter season ends, the club is looking ahead to a new summer project: an asphalted multi-track to be built as part of the exercise trails, along with a larger hall enabling indoor biathlon. The project, costing over 11 million kronor, is largely funded by Arvsfonden.
