According to the 3rd Army Corps on Telegram, the elderly woman had no hope of survival and made her way past shell craters and bodies until the robot came for her. The Ukrainian army urged people to evacuate in advance to preserve life. In a separate attack, a Russian drone strike on Odesa wounded 14 people, including two children, hitting residential neighbourhoods and civilian infrastructure, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the city's administration.
Oleh Kiper, head of the regional military administration, said five of the wounded were hospitalized, mostly with shrapnel wounds. Meanwhile, a Ukrainian drone strike killed two elderly people in the Russia-occupied Kherson village of Dnipriani, Moscow-installed Gov. Vladimir Saldo said.
