Landskrona BoIS has appointed Robert Grandén as the new sporting director for its men's team. The club announced the appointment on its official website, stating that Grandén's first day will be on Wednesday. The 45-year-old Grandén previously worked as a project manager at Halmstads BK and has a broad background in Swedish football, including coaching roles at clubs such as Ljungby and Växjö, as well as involvement in academy activities at IFK Värnamo.
He has also served as an academic director at Östers IF and holds a UEFA Pro license. Additionally, Grandén is a trained teacher and has worked with companies in football education and leadership development. Club CEO Kalle Olsson reportedly expressed satisfaction with the recruitment, stating that Grandén's drive, leadership, and approach to development align with the club's values.
