Riksteatern Barn & Unga has premiered two new plays for children this winter. The plays reportedly explore children's difficult emotions and fears with a comedic twist. One play, "Tassen på hjärtat" by Elmira Arikan for ages 5–9, is a warm-hearted comedy about grief, featuring a longing child, a magical cat, and a neurotically scared father.

It is directed by Emil Brulin and stars Jonathan Silén as a stressed father and Elsa Kihlberg as his eight-year-old daughter Minou, whose mother is dead. The other play involves a therapeutic cat and scares in a mysterious forest.
