Region Stockholm has implemented measures following media reports that named a company in an ongoing investigation involving individual employees within parts of the traffic administration. According to an official statement released on March 17, 2026, the traffic administration has paused all payments to the company in question. The measures have now been expanded to cover all of Region Stockholm's administrations and companies.

A region-wide inventory is underway examining all previous contractual relationships. If anything of interest to the ongoing investigation is discovered, the information will be handed over to the judicial authorities. The inventory results so far show that four entities have paid invoices to the named company between 2016 and 2026: Trafikförvaltningen (Traffic Administration), Locum, Förvaltningen för utbyggd tunnelbana (Extended Metro Administration), and Kulturförvaltningen (Culture Administration).

Of these, only Locum, alongside the traffic administration, currently has ongoing contractual relationships with the company. Locum will temporarily pause additional payments and new contracts, and will send a formal letter to the company informing them of this action. On February 17, the regional board decided to appoint an external review, with consultations to be held with judicial authorities regarding when and how to begin the work.
