The luxury house originally built by football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Åre, Sweden, has seen its asking price reduced after seven months on the market. According to a report from Expressen Sport, the property's price has been lowered from 32 million to 30 million Swedish kronor.

The house, which Ibrahimovic and Helena Seger began constructing in 2014, features panoramic mountain views and is located near Petter Stordalen's five-star Copperhill Mountain Lodge hotel. The uniquely designed property was sold seven years after construction to entrepreneurs Saeid Esmaeilzadeh, Kamjar Hajabdolahi, and former Degerfors goalkeeper Sebastian Karlsson.

The target audience is more limited and decision processes are often longer than in a traditional property sale. This type of property requires the right exposure, right positioning, and a thorough process.

Joachim Söderberg, agent at Sotheby's Realty

The current owners upgraded the house with additions including a master bedroom and gaming room before listing it for sale again in August 2025. The property is now being marketed by Sotheby's Realty through agent Joachim Söderberg, who replaced previous agent Cecilia Edfeldt.

Söderberg explained to Expressen that the luxury property market operates differently from traditional housing sales, stating: 'The target audience is more limited and decision processes are often longer than in a traditional property sale. This type of property requires the right exposure, right positioning, and a thorough process.' He described the house as an 'architecturally strong property with a clear identity' that appeals to a selective market of both national and international buyers.

While acknowledging the property's connection to the internationally recognized sports figure brings attention, Söderberg emphasized that the location, architecture, materials, and overall experience ultimately determine the property's value.
