The house, located in the village of St Germans, features Robert Lenkiewicz's Round Room Riddle mural. The Stables Café, its adjoining shop, and the Elephant Bar are on the estate. Guests can wander through the gardens and parkland from 10am to 5pm daily for £6 for adults.

The gardens were bursting with bluebells and wild garlic when a visitor toured on Sunday, April 26. Lady Bianca Eliot currently resides in Port Eliot House with her children and is also the landlady of The Eliot Arms, a village pub. Edward James Eliot, an abolitionist and parliamentary reformer, was born at the house in 1758 and died there in 1797.
