A snowmobile accident south of Tänndalen in Härjedalen municipality resulted in one person being injured and requiring helicopter rescue on Thursday morning. According to SVT Jämtlandsnytt, the accident occurred at Svanåkläppen when a snowmobile overturned, injuring the rider's foot. The emergency call came in around 10:00 on Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson Maria Fredriksson confirmed that a police helicopter was dispatched to retrieve the injured person. "It's not entirely unusual for the police helicopter to be used in a case like this," Fredriksson stated. " Authorities have not yet released information about the severity of the person's injuries.
