Police are investigating a dispute involving around 30 youths over a tree on Hönö. According to police press spokesperson Johan Håkansson, the incident involves a dispute between two groups. He said it sounds like the event could be linked to the so-called 'grankriget' (tree war) currently ongoing on the islands.
Police received calls from people who saw the youths arguing about the tree, which is believed to be connected to that conflict. Police remain on the scene to investigate the reports and for safety purposes. No one was reported injured, and there is currently no suspect.
