Police in Nordland had many assignments related to violence and unrest during the night to Sunday. There was most trouble in Bodø, where at the popular venue Dama di, a person is said to have been subjected to violence just after 01:00. The police have been in contact with the victim who likely suffered a broken nose after being hit in the face. There are said to have been two perpetrators who attacked the victim, and they have left the scene. Back in Bodø, police had to respond to another venue, Hundholmen, where a person is reported for disorderly conduct in a public place after being taken into control and spent the night in the police drunk tank due to intoxication. Around 02:45, there was trouble again in downtown Bodø, with a person expelled from the city center after a fight between two parties; police took control of one of the parties, and none are said to have any injuries. It is not only in Bodø that there have been fights and trouble during the night. In Rana in Helgeland, there have been two violent incidents. In Narvik, two persons had to be expelled from the city center during the night due to intoxication.
In Ålesund, police used pepper spray after responding to a situation that was said to be threatening during the night to Sunday. A woman is said to have been standing in the middle of the road while holding a knife in her hand. No one was injured in the incident. In addition, police responded late Saturday evening to a violent incident at a hotel in Ålesund; four persons are said to have been involved, but no one was injured, and one person was reported for disorderly conduct. During the night to Sunday, seven persons, six men and one woman, were reported for riding an electric scooter under the influence in Ålesund. All were under 25 years old according to police. Also in Molde, a man in his 20s was reported for allegedly riding an electric scooter under the influence.
Additional police responses occurred in the Møre og Romsdal region. Also in Molde, police received a report of a violent incident at a venue; no one is said to have been injured here either, but one person was expelled by police. A person was also taken to custody in Molde after the person was not said to be able to take care of themselves due to intoxication.
