Key Points
  • A Karlskrona police officer was convicted for assaulting a friend in a hotel room and for other offenses, leading to employment termination.
  • PC Zoe Williams was found to have committed gross misconduct by sexually touching a man at a nightclub but received a final written warning due to mitigating factors.
  • Samantha Pelrine and her husband were arrested and charged with child rape in Massachusetts, with both pleading not guilty.

A police officer from Karlskrona was convicted for assaulting a friend in a hotel room after being woken up, according to official sources. The Karlskrona officer and his friend were in Stockholm in March last year to watch football and shared a hotel room, official sources said. The friend came to the room to sleep and found the police officer asleep naked across the bed.

When the friend pulled the police officer down to the floor to wake him up, the officer immediately attacked, pushed the friend to the floor, sat on him, and aimed about ten blows at his head. During legal proceedings, the police officer denied the crime, claiming he was surprised by the wake-up and thought he was under attack. The district court considered the police officer's defense disproven.

I touched his midriff while moving past him.

The month before, the same police officer kneed another friend in the stomach during a shuffleboard game, according to official sources. The officer has also been convicted for sending threatening messages to two brothers. The officer has had to end his employment with the police following these convictions, official sources confirmed.

He has been convicted for the two assault cases, sentenced to protective supervision and community service. In the United Kingdom, PC Zoe Williams, an off-duty policewoman, drunkenly approached a man at a nightclub and touched or cupped his groin, according to the panel's judgement. According to the misconduct panel, she was seen dancing in a fairly extravagant manner and embracing or hugging clubgoers she knew during the same incident.

I was at a six on a drunk scale of one to 10, having consumed four or five double gin and tonics, several glasses of 'baby Guinness', and one Sambuca shot.

PC Zoe Williams engaged with two men from Cardiff, particularly a man who was tall with a distinctive haircut and wearing a black T-shirt, the panel found. The misconduct panel determined that the allegation stating PC Zoe Williams touched or cupped an unknown male's groin without reasonable belief of consent was substantiated. The panel found the touching wasn't accidental and had been sexual, amounting to gross misconduct.

Despite the finding of gross misconduct, the panel imposed a final written warning instead of dismissal, giving weight to PC Zoe Williams' assistance to a mother on a beach in January 2024. In a positive context, PC Zoe Williams received a chief constable's commendation in 2024 after administering life-saving CPR to a toddler, according to multiple reports. In Massachusetts, a female police officer was arrested with her husband and charged with child rape after recently being suspended, multiple reports indicate.

My inhibitions were slightly reduced but I was not falling about or out of control.

Plymouth Police Officer Samantha Pelrine, 31, and her husband Daniel Forand, 37, were arrested at their home on Thursday. Samantha Pelrine and Daniel Forand allegedly raped a boy repeatedly starting when he was just 14 years old, according to court documents. Samantha Pelrine faces three felony counts of aggravated child rape with force and one count of aggravated statutory rape of a child, multiple reports confirm.

Daniel Forand was charged with 20 charges, including rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The alleged crimes occurred from 2018 to 2025. Samantha Pelrine and Daniel Forand pleaded not guilty at their arraignment, with cash bail set at $10,000 for Pelrine and $25,000 for Forand, which they posted, according to multiple reports.

I denied touching Male A below his belt level or 'fancying' him.

Samantha Pelrine was placed on paid administrative leave on March 17 after the alleged victim disclosed the sexual abuse accusations in a handwritten affidavit. The Plymouth Police Department stated they are appalled and deeply disturbed by the allegations and hold officers to high standards. The accuser, now in his twenties, said his grandmother and aunt raised him until he was 12, then handed him over to Daniel Forand and Samantha Pelrine, who became his legal guardians after a year, according to the accuser.

He alleged that shortly after becoming his guardians, both sexually assaulted him until 2025 and physically assaulted him until 2026, with only the husband physically assaulting him. The accuser moved out of the couple's home in Plymouth in February, multiple reports indicate. In another UK case, a disgustingly drunk police officer sexually assaulted another woman after telling her she knew the law, according to the court.

I don't want to have sex with you, you're too drunk.

Alleged victim, Woman

Fiona Anderson, 33, a police constable with Devon and Cornwall Police, got into bed with her alleged victim after drinking together and performed non-consensual oral sex on her, according to the prosecution. The alleged sex attack took place in 2018 in Cardiff. Fiona Anderson persisted after the woman said she did not want to have sex with her because she was too drunk.

She sexually assaulted the alleged victim after she had gone to bed, trying to initiate a sexual encounter and stripping off the other woman's underwear. According to the prosecution, Fiona Anderson said 'I need you to say yes, I know the law, I need you to say yes' to the alleged victim. The incident ended when the woman continued to not say yes and Anderson left the bedroom to vomit in the bathroom.

I need you to say yes, I know the law, I need you to say yes.

Fiona Anderson's memory of the evening was a bit fuzzy, but she denied any non-consensual sexual activity. Fiona Anderson has been suspended from duty since her arrest in March 2023 and denies two counts of sexual assault.
