According to Polisen Norrbotten, several men have been moving in different areas of Kiruna municipality, knocking on doors and offering craft work such as renovation. A car was stopped for a check in the afternoon and the men in question were identified. There is currently no suspicion that the men have committed a crime.
However, police urge the public to be vigilant if unknown people knock and offer various services at home. They advise not to pay for anything in advance and to be cautious if the persons try to enter the home. Police also ask the public to contact them if they suspect they have been subjected to a crime.
It remains unclear how many men were involved, which specific areas they visited, or whether any residents paid for services or let them inside.
