Police in Jönköping, Sweden, responded to an apartment in Söder Huskvarna on February 27 to assist ambulance services with a medical issue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a suspicious dangerous object. As the police patrol could not determine the object as harmless, the national bomb squad was called to the scene.
The bomb squad arrived and police collaborated with rescue services and ambulance personnel. Two people, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s, were in the apartment when police arrived. Both are suspected of preparation for public destruction, violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods, and drug possession.
