Police were called after a man fled the scene of an incident on foot. Several patrols arrived quickly and began searching for the perpetrator. During the operation, a patrol encountered a man who reported that his car had just been stolen.
The car was tracked digitally to Båtgården, where both the vehicle and a suspect in his mid-20s were found. The man was secured and arrested, suspected of unlawful taking of a vehicle. According to police, the arrested man matches the description of the man sought in connection with the initial alarm.
The man will also be questioned as a suspect for burglary theft. It is unclear what items were stolen.
