Philip Lindkvist Flötten took gold at the Junior World Championships in biathlon. He also won silver in the sprint event in the older junior class. The Norwegian Kasper Kalkenberg took bronze, while Grzegorz Galicia of Poland won the sprint.
According to SVT Sport, only Hanna Önerg and Mikael Löfgren are the only Swedish biathletes to have taken two individual medals in the oldest junior class at the Junior World Championships. Lindkvist Flötten described the achievement as fantastic and said he is very proud.
